Feature per Month program
This month's new feature is Print Area: this allows you to
print parts of a document selectively. The File Menu now includes a Print Area entry
which you can use to set and clear the print area. Simply define the area you want to print
by dragging a selection rectangle - a dotted rectangle indicates the print area. Print preview will
show how the print area will look. You can remove the print area by selecting File | Print Area | Clear.
You can get this important new feature at no cost if you have a
current subscription for your Stardraw product. Follow a link
to download this feature using Stardraw LiveUpdate.
Important Note: the Feature per Month program is
available only to current subscribers of Stardraw Audio, Stardraw AV,
Stardraw Lighting 2D and Stardraw Radio, and is delivered using LiveUpdate.

Web-Based Applications - Stardraw.net
Software provider Stardraw.com is to launch the world's first web-based
CAD system. Stardraw.net is a tool that allows one to design and
document integrated systems through a browser using an on-line library
of over 30,000 industry-specific symbols. Stardraw.net represents the
introduction of web-based technology that incorporates tools and data
for all of the niche markets addressed by Stardraw's conventional
software packages.
Stardraw MD David Snipp explains "Our conventional applications have
established the sorts of tools that integrators find easy to use and valuable
for system design and documentation. The web-enabled applications have been
written from the ground up to provide comparable functionality, but they are
designed to run within a web page. This is brand new technology and Stardraw is
proud to be the first company to our knowledge anywhere in the world to offer
full CAD capability via the web. It's a significant development and we're very
excited by it."
Snipp continued, "We are showing these new applications to
manufacturers and other corporate clients who are looking for flexible,
scalable, custom software solutions. The beauty of a centralised, web-delivered
application is that itıs very easy to maintain and update, and it can link to
realtime data like pricing, stock levels and special offers. Our first custom
web-based application, PanelBuilder, which went live on the RCI Custom website
last month has already been a huge hit."
In addition to the new web-based
technology, Stardraw will also be showing their full range of traditional
"shrink-wrapped" products for the pro audio and lighting industry, specifically
Stardraw Lighting 2D, Stardraw Professional, Stardraw Audio and Stardraw
AV.

Stardraw Announces Affiliate Program
Leading design and documentation software
specialists Stardraw.com have announced the launch of their Affiliate program in
a move that is designed add value to the websites of all Affiliate
members.
The program, which is free to join and open to everyone, allows
Affiliates to earn income from all online purchases at
www.stardraw.com
that result from a click-through from their site. The process is simple; having
registered to become an Affiliate, Stardraw then supplies a link that is unique
to each Affiliate to place on their website. Any customer that follows the link
will be identified and logged, and any purchases they make will be attributed to
the Affiliate's account. Commissions will then be paid on a quarterly
basis.
According to Stardraw marketing director Rob Robinson, "We're very
excited about the Affiliate program because it is such a simple way for anyone
that has any connection to or interest in Stardraw products to add value to
their site and at the same time earn them money. It also has the benefit of
introducing Stardraw to a wider audience, so everybody wins."
