Celestion standardises on Stardraw

Stardraw.com Ltd. is proud to announce that Celestion is fully supporting and standardizing on Stardraw Audio. The new Celestion-Stardraw partnership has commenced with the creation of a special version of Stardraw Audio Lite; distributed on Celestion's Product CD-ROM to dealers and contractors world-wide, this special version integrates the Stardraw Celestion symbols into Stardraw Audio Lite so that customers of Celestion can use generic symbols as well as all the Celestion symbols at no extra cost.

Richard Vivian, Product Manager for Celestion explains; "All our contractor/installation products are now fully documented and available direct from Stardraw. Providing our loudspeaker specifications in this way has made Stardraw software a highly relevant tool for our dealer network and our end users. Producing clear professional presentations is a useful sales tool and helps promote Celestion in the contractor market. Hopefully it will also encourage other installers to explore the potential of Celestion's pro-audio systems."

Rob Robinson joins Stardraw

We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Robinson as Operations Manager for Stardraw.com Ltd. Rob has had a close relationship with Stardraw for many years and brings, with his appointment, some unique experience to the Stardraw team.

Starting as a lowly audio installation engineer in 1989, Rob worked his way up the ranks to become a project manager for large scale audio and video systems at Shuttlesound by 1991.

He oversaw the launch and development of ShuttleCAD, the predecessor to Stardraw Audio, from 1993 to 1997 and from 1994 was instrumental in the adoption of Stardraw technology. The hugely successful Windows version of ShuttleCAD, based on a Stardraw engine, was released to critical acclaim in 1996. (Stardraw purchased all the rights to ShuttleCAD in 1999)

After changing pace to spend a few months skiing Rob set up as an independent marketing consultant in 1997 and joins us after 2 years as Marketing Manager for Moody's Risk Management Services, a software division of the global ratings agency.
