QSC Supported by Stardraw Control

QSC Audio Products Inc. is the latest of the growing list of manufacturers that plan to be supported by Stardraw Control, the brand new system control application from specialist software providers, Stardraw.com.

Stardraw Control is a software-based solution designed expressly to control systems that contain diverse products. It generates standalone, customized control programs that can manage and monitor any type of addressable equipment from any manufacturer using any protocol over any communications infrastructure. This approach frees systems integrators from closed or proprietary architectures and applications, offering instead the ability to create a single application that can control many different products with as much or as little complexity as the end user needs.

QSControl.net, QSC's next generation network audio system platform, is just one of the many protocols that will be supported within Stardraw Control. QSControl.net brings together QSC's power amplification and loudspeaker products into a unified system. For QSC this means that all BASIS and next generation RAVE network audio packages will eventually be supported within Stardraw control. The BASIS units combine three distinct QSC technologies within a single RU hardware package: system monitoring and control, configurable DSP, and CobraNet™ audio transport. The next generation RAVE 522aa combines configurable DSP with CobraNet™ audio transport, bringing a new level of performance to QSC's industry-standard RAVE technology.

Like other Stardraw applications, Stardraw Control is fast, powerful, flexible and easy to use; with a drag-drop interface and intuitive design environment, installers are able to configure systems and control them without having to write a single line of code. Generated control programs are portable and can run on any Windows-enabled device, from PC to PDA, or Mac, Linux and more. Stardraw Control can communicate with and control any device using any protocol including TCP/IP, RS232, DMX, IR, EtherSound, CobraNET, infra-red, UDP, SNMP and QSControl.Net.
